Our photographers were busier than ever in 2015, shooting phenomenal properties all across the country. So to ring in the new year, we’re sharing the top 12 homes that stood out to us the most in 2015.
1. Bowling Alley in Hinsdale, IL
This Hinsdale mansion has 5 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and over 8,000 square feet of living space. There’s a sauna, steam room, and theater room, but the best feature of all has to be the one lane regulation size bowling alley.

2. Stunning Sunset in Gig Harbor, WA
This has to be one of our all-time favorite photographs from last year. The view of the sunset over this lake in Gig Harbor, WA is absolutely breathtaking and leaves us wishing we could jump right into the photo.

3. Mansion from Hit TV Series ‘Empire’
This place is huge! It sits on over 8 acres of beautifully manicured lawns and the inside is equally impressive. We’re not surprised that it was chosen as the backdrop for a show about a hip-hop mogul.

4. Relaxing Getaway in Westhampton Beach, NY
Ahh Westhampton Beach. This house just screams vacation home. We think it would be the perfect place to escape from the bustling city and leave all the stresses of everyday life behind. The rooftop deck is probably the best part of all.

5. Glass House in Olympia Fields, IL
How often do you come across a glass house? Especially in Illinois. This property was so noteworthy it was featured in several publications last year including Chicago Magazine. We’re not sure we’d want to live in a fishbowl, but there’s no denying it’s an amazing property.

6. Former Home of Jason Derulo in Coconut Creek, FL
Any home of pop star Jason Derulo you know has to be over-the-top, and this place certainly fits the mold. Derulo has since moved on to bigger and better homes, but we were thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph this one with all its extravagant Florida luxury.

7. Not Your Typical Home in Atlanta, GA
This private estate in Atlanta has some of the most beautiful views from the windows and back deck. But the coolest part has to be all the interesting architectural details inside. Perfect example is the bed suspended from the ceiling with ropes. You don’t see that every day.

8. Views for Days in Chicago, IL
The sunset from these massive windows looking out over the city of Chicago is simply amazing. It’s like a rainbow of colors everywhere you look. We wouldn’t mind being able to enjoy views like this on a daily basis.

9. Amazing Rooftop Deck in NYC
Rooftop decks in New York City pretty much always come with an impressive view, but this one in particular stood out to us. Just the size of the space alone makes it impressive in a city where space comes at a premium.

10. Modern Yet Traditional Retreat in Lees Summit, MO
This home caught our eye mainly because of the gorgeous decorating with all the dark wood accents mixed with soft neutrals and stone work. Whoever decorated this home knew what they were doing and to put it simply, we are impressed.

11. Home of Former Chicago Bear Devin Hester
Former Chicago Bear Devin Hester put this magnificent property in Riverwood, IL on the market last year. With 10,000 square feet of gorgeous living space and two and a half beautifully landscaped acres, it’s no surprise a star football player like Devin Hester would find this place worthy of calling home.
