It’s summer and not only does that mean warm weather, but pool time! Where else would you want to be than sitting by the pool on a hot summer day, throwing an epic pool party! Our VHT photographers shot some of the most breathtaking pool scenes and here are a few where we want to spend our summer! Which one is your favorite? 1. Perfect Backyard Retreat in Yorktown Heights, NY
This home was built for entertaining. There’s no doubt about it. The LED lights in the pool plus the surrounding accent lights scattered throughout the grounds give the entire yard a warm glow. When you’re done swimming, you might want to take a stroll through the English gardens or even take in the view from the gazebo.
2. Tropical Oasis in Folsom, CA
This backyard oasis is the place to be. Between the cascading waterfalls, slide, grotto, and 10-person spa complete with massaging waterfall, your party guests are guaranteed to be wowed. This yard is even equipped with a bathroom and shower for all of your outdoor guests.
3. Perfect Pool with a View in Beverly Shore, Indiana
Who wouldn’t want to spend the day relaxing in the pool with a view like this? You can escape to the gazebo for some shade or to the beach for some sand in your toes. This pool is the perfect getaway to relax and enjoy your warm summer day.

Have you ever seen a pool this blue? Neither have we! This pool screams modern style and we love everything about it! This luxurious house is equipped with a sun room and a courtyard not too far from the pool for those who are looking for some shade. But with a pool like this, who wouldn’t want to lie on those cozy chairs, take a dip in the pool and have an amazing view of the ocean only a few feet away!
5. Majestic Pool in Fort Lauderdale, FL
This pool comes with everything you could possibly ask for, and more. During the day you can enjoy the refreshing water and at night you can take a dip in the cascading hot tub and enjoy the warmth of the connecting fire pit. We didn’t know it was possible to have a fire in the pool until we found this beauty!
6. Luxurious Pool-side Lounge in Glencoe, IL
Take a whirl down the winding slide, dive off of the diving board or shoot some hoops, pool style. You will constantly be entertained spending the day in this lavish pool. This backyard is perfect for entertaining, and with a pool like this, you can’t say no!
7. Dazzling Pool and Spa in Stuart, Florida
This picturesque home cannot be real… but it is! The patio wraps around the house providing you with an abundance of scenery and a lake view. There is a spacious guest house right next to the pool where you can escape to play some pool with guests. This house could not be more perfect and is just the place for entertaining!
8. Simple, Yet Sophisticated in Manalapan, Florida
This isolated getaway is the perfect escape that you need. Relax by the pool with the sound of the ocean not too far away. Not only is this pool amazing, but the house has a sun room and a loggia you can escape to when you’re taking a break from the pool. Grill out with your family and friends and chill out under one of the many umbrellas for some shade!
9. Beautiful In-ground Surrounded by Nature in Lake Forest, Illinois
If you’re looking for a little isolation and the perfect place to relax, this backyard is your sanctuary. Escape your surroundings and enjoy the sounds and feel of the scenery around you. Who knew a yard could be this vast and beautiful. It’s the little things in life that make you enjoy the great things like a much needed day by the pool.
