Dining Area, Featured, Funny, Holidays,

I Love “View”

by Brandon Perez - Social Marketing SpecialistFebruary 13, 2020no comment

Valentine’s Day is tomorrow. Restaurants are preparing for one of the busiest evenings of the year. Everyone’s out to impress. All in the name of love.

Or something like that.

If you’re like me, you don’t need a date for permission to treat yourself to some good grub. At the same time, it’s an awkward day to show up to a restaurant alone! Solution? Dine in.

Open your dining room blinds, and you’re set: dinner with a view. Or maybe your view is akin to mine: an alleyway. Rats!

In any case, let’s all tour some dazzling dining areas and pretend we’re feasting fancily this Friday.

A panorama of the city I call home. Chicago’s skyline is hard to beat when it comes to dining dioramas. Other than this outlook, all I’d need is some Lou Malnati’s deep-dish. For me, the smell of pizza IS the scent of love in the air.

If you’re big on backdrops, this one’s for you. This Utah utopia is right by the Wasatch Mountains, making for a breathtaking view. Watching the sun set behind this sierra would be priceless.

We’re pinballing around the country, now in Fort Lauderdale! Anyone feel like seafood? There are countless options here. Shrimp scampi, seafood bisque, lobster tail, she-crab soup – all viable Valentine’s Day dine-ins. Oh, and I’ll have a side of this stunning seascape as well please.

In the other corner of the country, the Seattle scene has a bit of everything: beaches, forests, mountains, and a skyline with a twilight tableau. Pour me a glass of that white, and order some amazing oysters. I won’t complain.

All this talk of supping and scenery has me reconsidering my Friday night plans. I might just get an Air Bnb and treat myself to a delightful dinner display.

How about you? Planning to brave the crowded restaurants, order in, or whip up a feast yourself? No matter how you #Valentines, be sure to show yourself, your family, and friends some love this Friday.
