…doesn’t mean you don’t have to worry about home presentation. Tell me, do these photos look like luxury $1 million+ listings? As an agent, if you are trying to sell a home this expensive, why would you not pay a little extra for professional photography and ensure these homes get the looks from buyers that they deserve. Every home deserves to look like a million bucks, especially when it is, literally, a million bucks.
Take a gander at these less than spectacular listing photos.
A flash might have helped here. Even if you take your own photos (which you should not, for a $1M listing) a good flash for a digital camera is only about $300. You gotta spend money to make money!
Might be a smart idea to actually get the whole home in the photo. Just a thought. That tree could be hiding tennis courts, a six car garage, or a space shuttle. Shame no one will ever know.
Twilight and night photos are eye catching and dramatic, but not when the house itself is hardly visible and cast in shadows. Lighting at night is also very important. When I see this photo, I see a tree, not a $1.8 million listing.
It seems the agent took this photo from THE WORST possible angle. Shuffling to the right would have made this photo about the house, not about the tree. It also appears to be a beautiful day out, showing a little bit more sky, and little less grass, would have made for a better snap.
