Bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms; we’ve seen them all papered in the wildest of wallpaper patterns. It’s understandable that people might prefer a clean, calming aesthetic, but that shouldn’t mean wallpaper doesn’t stand a chance.
I realize there are still people who associate wallpaper with their grandmother’s basement. But, the wallpaper revolution is in full swing, and its fresh and modern. As one freelancer with an eye for design on Houzz pointed out, wallpaper is to the 21st century what the painted accent wall was to the ’90s.
I love wallpaper. It creates interest and drama, it’s eye-catching and says something about you. Here are some wallpapered rooms photographed by VHT that really stand out.
