Next, in our VHT Studios’ In the Office series, we bring to you our Harley-Davidson riding Disney fanatic. And who else could it be, but Talent Communications Manager, Katie Dwyer? Maybe you haven’t seen her around, but you sure have had a few conversations over the phone with her and that undeniable laugh of hers.
Joining VHT Studios over four years ago, Katie has spent her time making friends and jamming out to 80’s hair glam band Mötley Crüe. “I was so thankful for VHT for offering me a new opportunity. The culture of the office is the best, bar none. I enjoy what I do and love the people I get to work with!” The only thing Katie doesn’t love is mice and the sound of people chewing. While we don’t have mice here in the office, we do have some loud chewers (you know who you are).
Katie started out on our Client Services team, and over the past few years has transitioned to our Talent team. Her day-to-day consists of scheduling photographers, managing the communication flow between photographers and our internal team, and helping facilitate communication and order management for our REO clients, including Fannie Mae.
When Katie is not munching on shawarma at her desk or chatting with the photographers, she can probably be found on the back of her Harley, driving her convertible as the self-proclaimed “best parallel parker EVER”, or watching School of Rock on repeat. Either that or she is at Disney World.
When asked what she would do after winning the lottery, she said what any great daughter would say. “I’d take care of both my parents first, so they could live without worries and enjoy the fruits of their labors. They’ve both done so much for me, I owe it to them! (And then I would buy a season pass to Disney World and a one-way ticket to Florida!)” We couldn’t see that one coming!
