Sometimes it’s tough narrowing down home design choices to just a single pair of colors. Some people want to use all the colors of the rainbow in their decor. And, on the flip side, color can be a little scary. While it’s not a lifetime commitment, it sure seems like it.
Remember, a splash of vibrant paint or a colorful, eclectic pattern infuses a home with personal style. Don’t be afraid to make a few bold choices.

This four bed, three bath Chicago home is listed by Joe Gasbarra of Coldwell Banker and is on the market for a cool $2.7 million. Photographs by Marty Konopacki for VHT.

Contrasting colors, patterns, textures…and somehow it all goes, doesn’t it? Nothing can satisfy a color craving except color. And I’d say the person who decorated this room is pretty satisfied.
This home even comes equipped with your own personal red carpet!
It’s color theory 101: Hues that oppose each other on the color wheel work well in combination. That means oranges complement blues, purples play nicely with yellows, and reds and greens get along.
You wouldn’t expect anything less from this homes master bath, would you?
This photo is less about the color and more about the fact that Coke>Pepsi.
Hmm, I sort of expected the grass to be a different color than boring, regular old green. A gorgeous patio nonetheless!
