Every day, The Wall Street Journal selects note-worthy homes and lets viewers vote for the House of the Day. From those winners, the House of the Week is chosen. From that select group, one honorary “House of the Year” is chosen by random voters.
VHT Studios is thrilled to announce that our very own photographer, Tina Gallo, is one of the nominees for the 2014 House of the Year. Congratulations, Tina! A Quiet Oasis Under the Brooklyn Bridge
- Price: $3,295,000
- Location: Brooklyn, NY
- Agent: Lisa & Christina Lonuzzi
- Company: The Corcoran Group
This breath-taking Brooklyn condo is a serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. With a massive 2,200-square-foot two-level deck and the most incredible panoramic view, it’s no surprise this home is in the running for the House of the Year. As you can see in the photographs, the large deck offers incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Manhattan Bridge, One World Trade Center and the Empire State Building.
The previous owner of the condo, Wanda Felton says, “When the Empire State Building is lit up, it’s spectacular.” In 2010, Felton actually held her wedding reception on this deck with about 200 guests!
Turning our attention to the interior, this condo is about 2,000 square feet and has an open floor plan which is said to be ideal for entertaining. The apartment has two bedrooms, and two and a half bathrooms. The previous owner says it is a good fit for a single person or a small family. Take the full VHT tour of this Brooklyn condo.
The home was first listed in September for $3,500,000, and was later reduced to $3,295,000. It is listed with Lisa Lonuzzi and Christina Lonuzzi of the Corcoran Group.
