Perhaps the most iconic image of country style, however, is the barn. Originally an old barn, this one-of-a-kind LaGrange, Georgia property (ReMAX) was recreated into an enchanting home with plenty of character. Updating the classic barn with clean lines, attractive windows, and modern touches gives new life to an old American favorite.

There is a reason that country living and styling never truly die. Sometimes sparse, sometimes rustic, sometimes kitschy but always homey, country living is a style that is bred into our genes and holds a place in our hearts.

Sitting picturesquely on 5.28 acres, this rustic, yet upscale, 2 bed 2 bath, 1,636 square foot home also shares an adjacent lake. Step inside and hardwood floors, stone floors, and barn beams from the original barn greet you. Gorgeous.

The mason jar lights, iron stools at the breakfast bar, and beautiful wood add country touches to an otherwise sleek and modern kitchen. Now, if only there were a farmhouse sink!

Vintage fixtures with a thick rope and a weathered picnic table fit right in on the farm; but contemporary chairs and couches and bold orange accent colors help keep it fresh.

The bathroom is perhaps the most modern and updated room in the house, thankfully!
