After four years in school together and countless hours of time in the lighting studio, I became accustomed to my best friend Grace bringing in Oreo Cheesecake Cookies to our photography classes. Now being separated by 500 miles, it’s only natural that we spend a good portion of our time talking about food and trying new restaurants. And so, an idea was born.
Grace’s love for cooking and our abundance of some of the most beautifully photographed kitchens in the world (and our love of food) lends to a new blog series called “Recipe Renovations.” This series connects Grace’s recipes and photographs of her masterpieces, with some of VHT Studios most stunningly photographed kitchens. And that friends, is what we call a collaboration sure to make you hungry.
Grace Pritchett (aka “Grace Face”) is the Content Manager at Westwork Content + Design in Kansas City where she does everything from photography to client development and project management. Grace is photographer by choice, a videographer by trade, and an organizer from birth. But more importantly, she enjoys cooking in the kitchen as much as she enjoys crafting a story around it. It’s just a plus she gets to work in the beautiful Westwork kitchen.
Grace graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Design, emphasis in Photography, and minors in Art History and French, making her an expert on things that no one asks about. Grace has several years of experience in photography, videography, social media marketing, and writing witty Instagram captions. Her work can be seen on the walls of her parent’s house.
Grace lives in Kansas City with her elliptical machine and a few plants. One day, she’s hoping to master chopsticks (the eating tool, not the piano piece.) But until then, she’ll just keep slaying as a food photographer.
Stay tuned for more tasty recipes and glamorous kitchens.
